It’s not a Mac vs. PC. It’s the utter lack of cross-platform professional codec that all companies share responsibility for. ProRes has its problems and bugs as well, so does Avid. 16-Bit TIFF is the only safe, reliable method available and of course is not a playback or disk space friendly option.
