I used to use YouSendIt, but found it painfully slow for both upload and download, and jumped ship to WeTransfer when it came along which has always been really fast in my experience both up- and downloading, so another vote for WeTransfer.
I've also always found Dropbox very slow.

Glad to help Emile and yes, the main reason I use yousendit is for the incoming dropbox capability. It's great for non-tech people to be able to send us large files.
Out of curiosity what changed with them becoming Hightail that makes it a pain? Asking because we are using them and have not noticed any changes other than the window dressing.
