I used to use YouSendIt, but found it painfully slow for both upload and download, and jumped ship to WeTransfer when it came along which has always been really fast in my experience both up- and downloading, so another vote for WeTransfer.

I've also always found Dropbox very slow.

Glad to help Emile and yes,  the main reason I use yousendit is for the incoming dropbox capability. It's great for non-tech people to be able to send us large files.

They also use Dropbox so that your clients can easily send stuff to you. You can see the details in your account info.

That was the clue! Thanks, Llyod. I downloaded what the web site called Hightail express and got an updated version of YouSendIt that works on 10.8.

I needed you to tell me about this -- their tech people didn't.

I am still using the app on 10.8. It's still branded yousendit though.   I totally agree that if they got rid if it I would not be happy.

They got rid of the easy to use YouSendIt app --- maybe it just doesn't work on 10.8  -- and replaced it with a much more awkward web based solution.

Out of curiosity what changed with them becoming Hightail that makes it a pain? Asking because we are using them and have not noticed any changes other than the window dressing.

I've used YouSendIt for years but the conversion to hightail makes it a pain in the ass, WHat do you folks use? Thanks.
