Todd, Yes, it occurred after the CC batch of update (11 on my machine). I do notice a new background task which have no idea is related “Adobe CEF Helper”. I’ve just confirmed problem on both machines and on both machines – CS5.5 and CS6 are unaffected.

There have been updates to Adobe Media Encoder and Camera Raw ( a couple of weeks ago) and Dynamic Link Manager (today), which show up under the After Effects heading, which is confusing. Did these new problems occur directly after one of those two updates? It would be very odd for either of those to have the effects that you describe in After Effects, but we need to check to make sure. Simply moving back to CS6 resolved both for now. 1 – TIFF image sequences only will come in with 100 images 2 – Color Profile Utility to convert to XYZ using standard Adobe preset results in huge red saturation boost – red channel goes near 100%
