| "given its probably SD, and been thru an analog generation or two who knows whats been really done to it" I thought D5 was a digital HD format, for a while it was the defacto HD mastering and archive standard before Sony came out with HDCAM SR. I remember seeing one in the machine room at a post house in Melbourne and they told me it cost more than a house... but then again the same was true for Digital Betacam for a long time. -Chris |
