Generally speaking for 3d modelling, Photoshop work and AE, one could argue that a larger high res 30'er or more! right in front of the user is preferable. (Usually paired with a 4:3 20er in portrait for fluff). For editing, Premiere and multitasking it would be two 24 or smaller displays along with a broadcast display.
