We’re recommending that people use the latest Mountain Lion (Mac OSX v10.8) for After Effects, as it fixes a lot of problems present in 10.7.

 

It’s especially important that Mac users install the recent After Effects updates, since the latest update for After Effects CS6 includes a workaround for a problem in Mac OS memory management:

Good afternoon everyone,

We just took delivery of 2 new iMacs preloaded with 10.8.4 and was wondering if there are any known issues with CS6 and this latest OS.
