I had a weird issue where I couldn't render to a drive - I could see the drive and all the files but I couldn't access them - I am on 10.8.4 and it is a esata drive via thunderbolt - I restarted the drive and it all fix it self - I don't know if it is the a case of the old IT question, "did you turn it off and on again?" timt From: "Jim Curtis" <jpcurtis@me.com> To: "After Effects Mail List" <AE-List@media-motion.tv> Sent: Monday, August 5, 2013 12:14:59 PM Subject: [AE] Ae 12.0 Mac getting import error again I've upgraded to 10.8.4 since my last post on this. I'm trying to open this old project that was giving me import errors before. I re-took Chris's advice (below), and fixed the permissions on the folders he suggested, but I'm still getting these import errors. The movies I'm trying to import are renders I did out of Ae using ProRes. The project opens just fine in Ae CS6. I have not reinstalled the AJA Adobe plug-in into Ae, which was causing the problem the last time. Has any new information come to light about these import errors? Interestingly… The first time I opened this project in CC today, the footage came in without error, and I shuttled the video and previewed the audio in a Comp a few times. Then, I got this error message one time for each ProRes movie I had in the project, and then all my movies showed up as off-line. That's weird, but maybe it's a clue. |
