I am having a terrible time with render issues

Trashed my preferences ditched my lights and cleaned up the timeline

Made a successful render without the audio but cannot get it to render with the audio even though it says to include it in render engine. I want to take this into Encore and have read one gets better results not letting Encore do the encoding.

I am running AE6(64 bit)

Here is the settings

Format MPEG-DVD

Render settings    current settings

Output module Main Concept MPEG Video

              Spatial quality=4

              Bitrate 5.00Mbps

Include-

    Output audio 48,000kHz/16bit/Stereo

Why does it not include the audio??
