Hi,

 I accidentally shot some AVCHD  footage on my GH3,  and had a difficult time converting them into something I can use on a Mac  book Pro retina purchased recently. I downloaded a whole bunch of demos that claim to be able to convert AVC HD to MOV, but did not seem to be able to. I eventually discovered, quite by accident, that I can open the private bundle in QuickTIme Player,  and could export the files one at a time :-( to .MOV files they could be read by ae qtp,  MediaPro, but not by FCP seven.

 Is there a better way to deal with this other than making sure that I never shoot AVC HD again. Thanks.
