Hi guys - I'm having to play sys admin a little more than I like as I build out my basement studio, and just trying to dodge some mistakes. I've not had to deal much with switches in the past - I'm curious for a small studio setup if I need a fully managed switch or if I can get by on the next level down - the "smart" switch? They seem to have link aggregating and lots of common options configurable - but I wonder if I'm missing something vs the more expensive managed options. |
