Will have a look at them when this render is over, and make low rez tests to find out what seems best. -From what i remember MP is on and 3cpu is set w/ 8GB of 24 reserved for apps/system. Haven't tried command line instances. What I do not understand is that the system is "usable", while rendering, ram use is about 18GB (20 with some multitabbed browsers on :-) but the cpu usage is relatively low..
