Well, I would like for it to be the point.  Never seen an editor yet that really plays back perfectly though.

I am not sure if my media storage is fast enough - I suppose if I knew that, I wouldn't have a question. lol :)

Believe it's about a 7K RPM Sata - if memory serves me.

I know it's hard to use an editor for perfect reviewing at normal speed but sometimes it plays fairly smooth, others not and never consistently.

I have zero effects going either.  These are tracks rendered out of AE for final render in Premiere. Very hard to get full feel for timing in AE.
