My thoughts...nothing.  Gotta let her render.  Had one similar where I followed that break taking rain tutorial and took like 2 hours for a minute or so.  I have an Intel I7, with 36 GB RAM, 2GB Video Card, and that military grade TUFF motherboard.

Just make sure you got it right. :)  I suppose using a proxy early on if it works might save time but that requires that piece to be where you want it (I think - not the expert on proxies).
