Hi Greg,

Very useful feedback and I agree with everything you are saying. Not s= ure=20 what happened with the link. Thanks for adding the link!
To answer your question about the animation: Some puppet and some mult= iple=20 frames, no IK.

You are right about the length. I wanted to only show videos from = 2013,=20 I had about 5 projects so far for this reel and not a huge amount of footag= e to=20 use. I tried my best to cut down to 1 min 20 or so, I started off with 4+= =20 minutes but even after editing most bits down to 1-2 sec I struggled to get= it=20 less than 2 minutes or remove more bits. I will ensure my next reel is shor= ter=20 when I have more to select from.
I was thinking that perhaps people in general will only visit my portf= olio=20 website for 1 - 2 minutes and perhaps only watch 1 video, so I figured if t= hey=20 only watch the reel, it wouldn=92t hurt if it=92s a little longer and they = will get=20 my style and what I do.

I=92m glad you like my style. What perhaps = makes=20 me a bit different is that I generally don=92t do vector illustrations for = my=20 videos and I normally do everything myself, apart from the music and VO

Hey,

First off. No link in the last message..

I just went straight to your site and watched it on the fron= t page.=20

Http://= sundstedt.co.uk for the=20 lazy.

Great work on the character animation. Liked it a lot. You u= sing duik=20 with puppet pins mostly?

Also, Alt-J is always good.

If I had one constructive criticism to give you, it might be= that the=20 reel is too long. It seems there's only focus on 3 of the 5=A0 pieces o= f=20 content you are showcasing in the reel, which, although there's plenty = of=20 animation to see from each, I might as well watch one of the actual videos = to=20 get all of that content. I would pare it down to maybe 1 minute of just you= r=20 best stuff. Don't be afraid to not show everything. The reel should sho= w off the=20 summary of work, leaving me wanting to check out the other pieces, but I fe= el I=20 might have seen all of one or two of them in there just spliced up and=20 rearranged.

Overall really good character animation, fun illustration st= yle and=20 good edit to the music track, etc.

Thanks for sharing. I really need to get my updated reel mad= e. I've=20 got like 45 minutes of project footage to sift through since 2009.
