That may have been true for the first couple of months after FCPX was released. But these days FCPX is being used for corporate, broadcast, and narrative/documentary feature as much as any other editing platform.

I guess it depends upon who's stats you want to believe. Just because Premiere Pro is installed with Production Premium or CC does not mean that every video editing pro is using it, and even if more copies of FCPX have been sold then FCP 7 that does not mean that every video pro is using FCPX either. It's a multi-platform world and we should expect to be literate in a couple of different editing apps for the foreseeable future. ...here in Seattle its a complete toss up.

I have Premiere CS6 of course but use FCPX almost exclusively for my corporate and broadcast work (with some FCP7). Though only a handful of my producer/director clients have begun to request that I use FCPX, and most don't care. I do expect to get requests for Premiere at some point and plan to learn it better when I have some free time.
