Yep I agree with Todd, I barely max out my VRAM in AE or PPRO unless doing = tons of 3D layering / raytracing stuff. Better off with more cores. However= , honestly - IMO he should grab a GTX 580 3GB edition on ebay. It's actuall= y faster than the newer GTX 6/7 series for CUDA and much cheaper.
