Actually, I am wrong.  It LOOKED like it didn't charge but charges E29.

For Greg - Thanks.  I actually have this, don't believe it is version 2 though.  Actually, just checked and it's version 1.87.

I've used it successfully but a while back, I had some issues where it seemed to encode but was randomly dropping a few frames at beginning and end and I could not figure out why.  Have you ever seen that?  I mean, we need precise frames so that concerned me a bit.

I used it last night for a very short 14 frame thing and it work fine though.
