Hi all,

I have an OT query - I always value the knowledge on the list and I know =
it's not limited to AE.

I will be replacing the old 5400rpm drive in a Mac Mini with a new SSD.  =
I won't be upgrading the OS or changing anything else - just the physical=
 swap.  
Can I simply copy everything over between the two drives or should I clea=
n install the OS onto the SSD first?  I know that in an ideal world you w=
ould re-install everything from scratch and it's a good opportunity to do=
 a spring clean, but I really won't have time.  I'm not expecting any pro=
blems with doing a straight copy & replace so if anyone is aware of pitfa=
lls then please let me know.

As payment for an OT query I offer 2 handy keyboard shortcuts:

1) holding down the option key when pasting will paste at the current tim=
e.

2) When the main viewer window is selected, alt-double clicking on the ha=
nd icon will re-centre the viewer contents, which is very handy when comp=
aring multiple compositions.
