Hi all,

I have an OT query - I always value = the knowledge on the list and I know it's not limited to AE.

I = will be replacing the old 5400rpm drive in a Mac Mini with a new SSD. =  I won't be upgrading the OS or changing anything else - just the = physical swap.
Can I simply copy everything over between the two = drives or should I clean install the OS onto the SSD first?  I know = that in an ideal world you would re-install everything from scratch and = it's a good opportunity to do a spring clean, but I really won't have = time.  I'm not expecting any problems with doing a straight copy = & replace so if anyone is aware of pitfalls then please let me = know.

As payment for an OT query I offer 2 handy keyboard = shortcuts:

1) holding down the option key when pasting will paste = at the current time.
