The Dubon one is basically just executing a very simple dos command for ffmpeg. I dug that line out of the script and reproduced it outside of AE to test. If I find time to do what I'm thinking you won't need to bring the file into AE first. It will just record the path to the file rendering and then run that function on it after it's done. I could also rename it to be the same as the original file so you wouldn't have 2 files.

Here is a summary of what I had considered "sort of" an issue.
 
1.  The Dubon version doesn't do 4444 and I really like this one because of the interface directly in AE.
 
2.  The Cinec one, DOES do 4444 but with a few large files I found some problems with it either locking up and not doing (or seeminly not) anything OR, it was stripping like 5-8 frames or so off the front and back so my video files were not matching right.
 
I was wondering if anyone else experienced that.  Of course, now, I just bought version 2 which has an installer this time so maybe the whole thing is mute.  I have not yet installed to check it out.
