| Hi, I'm currently working on a 100 year anniversary project, so I have 100 years of photos to go through! This is more of a suggestion rather than a template, but I have found it invaluable to go through and resize all the assets to the same dimensions first. This means that when images are swapped around - which clients love to do - the composition doesn't fall apart because the new photo is a different size and shape from the previous one. It does mean that you have to choose a master / global size and aspect ratio to work with, but it's a way of minimising problems later on. If you're working to 16x9 then that's a good ratio to start with, or 5:3, etc etc (in my project everything is revealed in circles, so I'm cropping them all down to squares). If you have a project that has lots of portrait and landscape photos then it means you are making the scaling / positioning / cropping decisions before you start but this really does save headaches later on. I generally just create a master composition at my chosen size, import all the images with the same duration (1 second), then sequence them. Then I just work through them all, fitting their width or height to the composition size and adjusting the position in the frame to suit. This is also a good opportunity to do a rough grade on each image to make them more consistent.
