That makes sense. Any reason for PNG over TIF? I thought TIF supported additional bit depth and lossless?

    Also, it's not really about the audio, more that sometimes I don't want the extra step of transcoding to a sequence if the rest of footage is in another codec. I just tried DNxHD and it works great with mocha. I don't mind having all my footage in this codec so if I need to track a surprise new item I won't have to stop and wait for a render to sequence. I always use PNG frame sequences for quick track work or DPX if I really need to mess with the image a bit to see details, but mostly JPG or PNG sequences to keep things fast.
