Have you tried to use the "more accurate" in the More Options popup in the interpret footage dialog for the affected vector file?
I think it also helps in these cases

I have an issue where AI(or EPS) files with PSD images embedded in them jittering. It looks like a wiggle expression is on the layer that has the image. The rest of the file is fine. It seems to start freaking out when you turn on collapse transforms, start moving the camera, and have the file in a precomp. 

Anyone else seen this?
