I have not noticed any issues, but I don't use the paid version. I used the free version twice today, without issues.
Instead of the email version, I typically just have WeTransfer give me a link, then I send it to the client manually--email or Skype or whatever. They click the link and download. You can choose this option on the main screen, it's the icon on the lower left.

Subject: [AE] wetransfer file transfer service review
Sorry to clog the list with my personal problems, but I cancelled my service with exaVault and signed up with WeTransfer based mostly on the positive reviews I read here on this list.
Today, it's taking an hour for download notifications to come to my and my client's mailboxes. And last week, the service was down entirely for four hours or so.
I wrote to sales and got a reply to the effect that "this hasn't happened before."
So, can you other customers who were so enthusiastic about wetransfer corroborate that? Or, am I being shined on?
I've got less than a week left to cancel my year commitment without penalty, and I'm considering it. I can't afford these delays. I have impetuous clients.
Jim C.
