I have been using premiumbeat.com for quite a few corporate videos and case study type of projects. Not super-high quality, but still nice and they usually deliver the track edited in different lengths and with separate loops.

Getty never used to be cheap.  In fact, their stock licenses can be outrageous.  However, I read recently that they're releasing some of their catalog of still images into the public domain.

There are dozens of sites with royalty-free music, which means that after paying for the initial fee, you can use it on anything and everything you do in perpetuity, regardless of distribution format or market.  You can find a lot of them just by googling for "royalty free music" and double check their terms to make sure you know what you're agreeing to.

well just to throw in my 2c gettyimages.com actually has a ton of music content and a pretty good searchable interface with filters & player. Not super cheap but not unreasonable either...

I don't normally handle the music side of things, but I need a track for an explainer video. Does anyone have any favorite sites/resources?
thanks.
