It's a workaround, but if you apply a black-white ramp in a pre-comp,=20
you can follow it up with Colorama, set the input to luminance and the=20
output to whatever you want your gradient to look like, and then set the=
=20
number of repetitions to equal the number of text lines that you have.=20
Should work.
