I've done more 720 work than 1080.  Most of my 720 work has been for the web. And the few spots I've done in 1080 are for other markets, so I've never seen them on TV, other than the ones in the edit room.

I'm calculating that Ae work will take 25-35% longer in 1080, due to the rendering and RAM-Previews, master uploads to ExtremeReach, etc.

I'm not totally convinced 1080 looks 35% better on TV.  So, I'm wondering if anybody has good reasons to work in 1080, not just preferences.

If it makes a difference, 720 has to be delivered at 59.94, but I'm planning on doing everything at 23.976 until I transcode it for uploading, which should take care of the 3:2 cadence.  The only thing they'll take at 23.976 is 1080.
