It's not really pertinent anymore, unless you work for a tv station.  90% of=
 my work goes on air, and is generally mastered at 1080/23.98. Sometimes we a=
dd pulldown, and sometimes DG does. I do not miss interlacing and field orde=
r issues AT ALL. =20

Funnily enough, many tv stations don't have a way of QC'ing interlaced mater=
ial anymore. It's why you sometimes see stuff air with reversed fields - som=
ething that would've gotten me fired early in my career now warrants indiffe=
rence.  Kinda sad.=20
