In Premiere Pro, the handling of straight versus premultiplied channels is specific to each importer; there is no general way to specify this for the whole application.

Please submit a feature request to the Premiere Pro team.

Subject: [AE] Premiere Pro premultiplied alpha question

Hi

I know this is a bit OT but cant find a good answer to this in the manual or anywhere online :-(

Where can i set what the alpha should be interpreted to in Premiere Pro?

there is no option in the interpret dialog like in AE, but the manual says that premiere handles both straight and premulitiplied, but no option to set it if it is wrong?

The only option i have found to correct it is use the Remove Matte effect, but i hope that isnt the correct way to do it :-(

Robert
