I converted it in Handbreak and brought that into AE and it was fine.

I would prefer to be able to convert it to photoJpeg or  ProRes but Handbreak only does it to mp4.

not tried VLC.

Can you open it in VLC? Does it look fine there?

I shot some footage with the iPhone5s at 120fps and it looks pretty good considering....

Weird thing is that when I load it into AE I get terrible compression artifacts.

If I play the movie in QT PlayerX it looks fine but if I play it in QT7 I get the same issues.

QT PlayerX doesn't seem to offer me the option of choosing a codec to export out of otherwise I could just export it as photoJpeg and bring that into AE.

Any idea if there is a way to tell AE how to decode QT files using QT X instead of QT7 ?

Or, any other good ideas?

Cheers.

Phil
