Based on nothing else but presumptions, Adobe’s core revenue comes from small organisations (1 to 10 seats).
From this perspective, attaching a cloud enabled software’s license to an email kind of makes sense.
However, they do have an Enterprise solution for large organisations (minimum 100 seats I believe) where licenses are not linked to e-mails.
But when you’re in the middle (10-99 seats), you’re not having fun…
I also wish CC for Teams would have another licensing option than e-mail (a floating license server maybe?? yeah right), but for the time being, email aliases
are your friend.
Have a look at Gmail’s facility for ex :
ae.user@gmail.com can be aliased with
ae.user+machinename@gmail.com.
Best,
F.

Yes, I did that. The standard reply was to use the prescribed email method.
Once I asked, "Why is email so important to this system?", the responder went silent.

The Adobe folks on the AE-List are members of the After Effects team, not members of the group that can usefully respond to feedback about Creative Cloud Team.

Really? There is no way to activate Team Members without an active email address?
I need to activate two rooms/computers beyond the two that I've already activated with my own email address.
These aren't people - they are rooms - facilities. What a sucky system, Adobe.
