Avid codecs are persnickety about frame rates and sizes.  You can try a different version of their codec; there are several options for each codec.  If your Ae comp doesn't match the codec you chose, that's probably why you're seeing it adjusting itself.

However, if you want to render your Ae Comps at max quality in Pr, you can also dynamically link your Ae Comps, and use them just like a clip in your Pr Timelines, and when you export, your Ae renders will be "first generation" on your output movie.

On Mac, you can drag your Ae Comps into a Pr project or Timeline.

This should be simple, I'm sure but being new to Premiere, I haven't yet render files out for use in AE and instead have been using raw files.  I just want to render from Premiere in 1920x1080 and maintain the same quality to use in AE.

I want to use the DNxHD codec and I keep trying to select the format as .move with the codec of DNxHD and it keeps adjusting my resolution to 1920 by 1280.  What are the recommended setting for render?
