I often crank the particle size and slide its position around for a while before finding the emitter, can be very frustrating. Maybe there is an easy way to move the emitter to the same position as the camera, while canceling out any world transformations and parenting? Is there an easy way to find my Particular box emitter when it is pasted in= to a new comp with a different camera? Trying to populate a particle setup = across a few comps with different animated cameras. Currently spending way = too much time trying to find the emitter.
