Apologies if I'm stating the obvious and perhaps missing the point, but = by selecting the two mono tracks in FCP 7 and hitting opt-L, you create = a stereo pair. Works in the other direction, too. Yes you can in the project = window, but it is an annoying bug that fcp always sets animation movies = as upper field.

I find fcp always interprets animation movies as upper field = first not as lower field (as set in AE), or = progressive.

If I import a QT with audio = into AE then render it out I am getting a weird audio = issue.

It sounds fine but when I import it into = Final Cut it is seen as Dual Mono instead of = Stereo.

AE says it is stereo, as to does = QuickTime but FCP always says Dual = Mono.

Usually we would do a layback in Final = Cut but we are versioning a bunch of spots and want to avoid the extra = step.

I found this thread on Creative Cow that = sounds like the same issue.

A= ny = ideas?

Cheers.
