Agreed, we can fix in FCP no = problem but the plan is not to put them back into = aFCP.

We had our files kicked back from the network = distributor due to them being dual mono instead of stereo and we are not = in a position to argue or tell them to change their workflow. We need to = deliver = stereo.

Cheers.

Yes you can in the project = window, but it is an annoying bug that fcp always sets animation movies = as upper field.

I find fcp always interprets animation movies as upper field = first not as lower field (as set in AE), or = progressive.

It sounds fine but when I import it into = Final Cut it is seen as Dual Mono instead of = Stereo.

AE says it is stereo, as to does = QuickTime but FCP always says Dual = Mono.

Usually we would do a layback in Final = Cut but we are versioning a bunch of spots and want to avoid the extra = step.

I found this thread on Creative Cow that = sounds like the same issue.
