Looks like it won't work.. Protools seems to be very finicky.. http://randycoppinger.com/2012/06/13/protools-and-h264-video/ Basically variable bit-rate of H.264 and also the AAC audio codec can really mess with the timeline / preview in ProTools.. it's not "Frame Accurate" as a codec. Anyway.. it looks like you'll have to re-encode... my personal preference for a really small file (compared to others) is PhotoJPEG set to 98% quality.. In Adobe Premiere, I don't have an option to select = H264 and then also select .mov anywhere so I had to go H264 .mp4.=A0 For wh= atever reason, he can't transcode to some other format he needs.=A0 I&#= 39;m a bit baffled by it.
