I used 16-bit TIFFs with LZW on from Photoshop and AE and don’t recall seeing that.

Also, when using 16 bit tiffs make sure LZW compression is turned off. It only works for 8 bit tiffs, and having it on for 16 bit tiffs will create larger files that take longer to open.

...just doublecheked a simple single frame output of AE CC. And here the 16bit LZW is smaller than no LZW compression, but not as large percentage amount as the 8bit version. the 8bit version is more than 1550% smaller in this one test, but the 16 bit is only about 5% smaller ???
