The closest to direct output is the second one I sent.  Still must render
from AE first, bring file back in then GUI in AE converts it.

The only thing i don't like is no progress bar.  It goes to a busy cursor
until complete and hope for best.  But, it's worked every time.

I agree, would be nice to see this feature either in AE or an industry
standard compatible with both PC and Mac.

I've had good luck so far with both.
