Encore is ok for me on the Mac, except for re-using VOB files (missing last=
 frame).

You just put the unzipped folder into the same folder as the Encore app, an=
d the next time you launch Encore -- and click on the Library > General pul=
ldown -- the templates will load. It's a bit of pain but worth it for menu =
jump-starts. A bit more, plus Adobe video:
