I don't know if this is related put I hate when I open someone else's project only to find that AE grabs there timeline set up and doesn't automatically make my preferred timeline set up the default - wouldn't it be cool if you could open a project and open your settings and every project you opened conformed to how you like things set - including timelines, workspaces etc... Arghgh. I am very particular about my workspace setup for workflow speed, with lots of custom docked scripts and tweaked toolbars and buttons. After the new AE update they are reset to defaults. I don't see how to get back my custom workspaces either. I will put in a feature request but wouldn't it make sense to have workspaces synced through the cloud as well as prefs? Anybody else annoyed by that? Or was that a glitch? |
