we just did this very thing, using plexus - which is great - as well as beams in AE. we messed around with newton too, but ultimately did not use it for the final piece, which didn't try to replicate the dropping balls. plus lots of tweaky handwork. that apple piece was lovely and gave us a lot of inspiration for our take on it, and the client totally loved it. b
Sent from my iPhone I may have to create a piece similar to this one from apple. I have no experience with Plexus, but I'm wondering if that's what was used in the following. It also looks like possibly some newton (if this was all AE), as well as a script I recognize but can't put my finger on. Other effects are easier to identify.
Anyone care to comment what they think went into this animation?
