The way I remember it C4DCafe had a major fallout a few years ago when a few longtime members there got pissed off by VertexPusher and Nigel (3DKiwi) was close to shutting things down. Somehow some Maxon people also seemed to be involved... Silly politics. Many people left back then and were never seen again... Otherwise the "noob" problem exists everywhere... You just have to learn to ignore those dimwits that are to lazy to read the manual, watch a few tutorials or generally have no clue about their computer and focus on the interesting parts...

c4dcafe.com - eh... seems very noob oriented - i never have been there before tonight, but i read through one entire forum of interest to me and the highest typical response was "contact maxon technical support and file a bug report" - as well as just one page back the postings were two to three weeks old, so not too much help/value in my opinion... but to each their own, maybe something good in there somewhere
