A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Well, not infinite – just a Milky Way but connecting to a bunch of other imagery for a zoom from the earliest imagery about 13 billion light years old to current day. Been working on this sequence for a long, long time. It won’t be a perfect zoom as the data obviously for all of it (i.e. 180 degrees of the sky) just does not exist of all objects at all distances but will have about 5 Terabytes of image placed and connected by the time it’s done for about a 6 minute sequence.

That's a lot of pixels, I think you win.

Doing an infinite zoom? Like, literally?

What’s the largest image anyone has run through AE? I’ve got 9.4 Gigapixel (110,000 x 85,000 pixels) currently tiling for use in AE. 26 GB source file.
