I don't recall seeing this. I presume this is on Windows? Or, Mac, too?
There is a box to uncheck on the download page. I learned after I had to do an uninstall on The McAfee.

So, the latest Flashupdate installed MacAfee Scan Plus (or some such), and I did not even notice an option to opt out. This is bad practice, Adobe (waggles finger).
