things. Wanted to start a list of your go-to plugins and scripts. I'll
start with some recommendations of stuff I use a lot, excluding "free" and
"pay your own"

TypeMonkey - automated kinetic typography maker

Quickdraw - automated handwriting / mask reveals (think easy + quick
whiteboards animations)

iExpressions - wide range of tools

expression timeline - powerful keyframe / expression blender

Newton and Plexus - both handy, and fun - 20% off saves you a fair amount
on these

ft-Toolbar 2 - absolutely essential. Add hotlinks and buttons for scripts,
effects, customized hotkeys etc

Hyle - Very interesting and powerful automation tool - excited about
possibilities, may pick it up

BG render pro - is it worth it to pick this up over the free version?

Rift - essential keyframe staggering and manipulations

Malty simple camera rig - Awesome looking smooth camera animation tool.
plays great with element 3d. I use this all the time
