Thanks for sharing those.  Amazing, stunning work!  Very impressive.

Jim, I just put some projects up with E3D (I have been remiss the last two years). I will look for some variations of those projection mapped sets that I templated for the editors to use with little E3D knowledge. They take advantage of the array transitions, by pre-rotating the models in 3dsMax, then mapping the various rotations, then setting up pre-comps  in AE with the appropriate offset rotations. (It is a lot clearer when one sees it).

I'm enjoying all the samples being posted.

Michael, can you post some of yours?  A sample of projection mapping?

I too use both. I think OF would be used more. We do a lot of projection mapping here, so we use Element more than the most might.

I have both, and I use OF much more than Element.  But, I think what's best for you depends on what your needs are.  Some people put flares on everything, including Element; but you'd rarely hear the reverse of that, I'd think.

I'd like to know, in your opinions, what is the most useful and must-have plug-in between the VideoCopilot Element 3D or Optical Flares. They use Optical Flares a LOT at the facility I have been working at, but E3D sure does look fun. Is it something you can use everyday or does it become 'oh that again' like Trapcode Shine did.

Obviously given my druthers I'd add both to my arsenal, but reality being what it is and the sale going on this week, I'd like to get one of them.

cheers
