There's no way a 4kb file contains video...unless its one frame hyper-compressed and around 150x150 pixels.

A quick search revealed that mcdb is a cache file:  http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/905249

Probably you're looking for a .mov file and if its not there...what can I say?  Look somewhere else?  :)
