Hi Scott, there's a still image on the top of the blog post that shows the particle wipe. However, the presets weren't designed to give a specific look - the idea is that they provide a 'quick start' for creating wipes by using expressions to minimise the number of keyframes you need to create. But the actual look of the wipe is very much down to the user (I just used one of the bundled Trapcode wipe presets).

If I get time I'll record a little video tutorial showing how they're used as that will probably explain the concept better than words :-)

Cheers,
Phil

Hi all,

I don't contribute as much as I'd like to this mailing list, although I learn lots from reading it, so thought it was time to give a little something back.

As we're in the season of all things sparkly, here are a couple of time-saving particle wipe animation presets I developed for my own use when creating multiple particle wipes in one composition.

The main benefit of using these is that you only have to set two position keyframes for each wipe.  Everything else is controlled by expressions, so no need to keyframe particle/second on and off for each wipe.

I've put a download link and  full description/instructions in this blog post:

Hope they're of use to somebody!

All the best,
Phil
