Have a look at "RG Warp", usually a great tool I= find for creating my faked refections.

Also, when creat= ing a fade out to transparent look at using "Linear Wipe." It wil= l definitely help you out in your needs. :)

Hi,
=A0
I=20 have been making some fake shadows by simply duplicating a layer, squashing= it,=20 stretching and changing levels and adding some blur effects.
=A0
I=20 would like to now fade it from dark to transparent, linear, so that it soft= ens=20 out the further away from the origin of the shadow. In my example the wheel= of a=20 cartoon fire truck.
=A0
I=20 tried this 4 point gradient but it doesn=92t work as it=92s not doing a lin= ear=20 gradient, also this effect doesn=92t fade to transparent, only to=20 color.
=A0
Another=20 thing I would also like to know, the wheel is rotating as the truck is movi= ng=20 forward, how can I make the dublicate copy (Ctrl+D) shadow also rotate=20 accordingly? Rotating it normally will not work because the squashed wheel= =20 shadow will rotate in 2D rather than in the fake 3D shadow plane. Is it pos= sible=20 to have it rotate correctly without using 3D layers? (the point of using fa= ke=20 shadows rather than actual 3D was to quickly get shadows without setting up= as=20 3D layers with lights etc. and render speed.) I usually do actual 3D but fo= r=20 this video it will be easier with faked shadows.

Thanks
