Well that's pretty cool. I haven't investigated these formats much. Do you find they have advantages over h264 (other than being open source?) Do you get better quality or smaller file-sizes?

Well, they also work in Media Encoder, so you could render an AE project out that way and use WebM, similar to how Adobe recommends you render H.264.

And actually, I think the import side will be supported by AE, although I haven't tested that a whole lot.

AE-native plug-ins could be made if there was a good reason and demand.
